<![CDATA[This researces purpose to describe the shape of the homonym word Dayak Muara Language (DML), discribe syntactic function homonym DML, and describes the causes of the DML homonyms. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data in this research are the words that are homonyms in the DML. Sources of data in this research is native speakers DML who live in the Muara Ilai village, Beduai subdistrict, Sanggau District. The technique used in this research is a inducement technique, a technique capable semuka, technical notes, recording technique, and technique involved consider ably. The tools used for data collection is a list questioners, vocabulary lists, tape recorder and note cards. DML homonymous form suitable context, the basic word, Affix form, alloy leksem, and form compound words. Based on syntactic function, homonyms DML serves as the subject of 16 words, as predicate 62 words, as the object of 53 words, as a complement of 10 words, as a description of 42 words and as a constituent definition of the word. Based on the cause of the DML first homonym there 7 word phonetic convergence, divergence meaning of 14 words, and foreign influences are 8 words. Keywords: homonym, semantic, words]]>
