Abstract

Pembelajaran membaca pemahaman merupakan salah satu kompetensi dasar yang perlu dimiliki oleh siswa  kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Namun demikian,  dalam kenyataannya kompetensi membaca pemahaman tersebut masih kurang memadai. Kompetensi membaca pemahaman tersebut perlu terus diupayakan peningkatannya  optimal. Salah satu model  yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi  membaca pemahaman  siswa Sekolah Dasar kelas V adalah dengan menerapkan model Directed Inquiry Activity ( DIA). Kata Kunci : kompetensi, membaca pemahaman,  model Directed Inquiry Activity
