Abstrak Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing bermedia kartu bergambar terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak kelompok B di TK Ihyaul Ulum Lamongan. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 17 anak kelompok B di TK Ihyaul Ulum Lamongan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dengan alat penilaian berupa lembar observasi dan metode dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan uji wilcoxon dapat diketahui bahwa Thitung<Ttabel(0<35) dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Dengan demikian hipotesis alternatif (Ha) tidak ditolak dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Jadi, apabila Thitung<Ttabel maka Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran snowball throwing bermedia kartu bergambar terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak kelompok B di TK Ihyaul Ulum Lamongan. Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran snowball throwing bermedia kartu bergambar,kemampuan membaca permulaan.  Abstract This quantitative research aims to determine the effect of snowball throwing instructional media card with a picture of the child's ability to read the beginning of group B in kindergarten Ihyaul Ulum Lamongan. These samples included 17 children in group B at TK Ihyaul Ulum Lamongan. Data collection techniques using observational methods with assessment tools such as observation sheets and documentation methods. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test formula. Based on the research with Wilcoxon test showed that Thitung <Ttabel (0 <35) with significance level of 5%. Thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is not rejected and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. So, if Thitung <Ttabel so Ha is received. It can be concluded that there is significant influence learning model application snowball throwing bermedia card with a picture of the ability to read the beginning of the kindergarten children in group B in Ihyaul Ulum Lamongan.
