PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TWO STAY – TWO STRAY (TSTS) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SDN HULAAN MENGANTI - GRESIK

Abstrak Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS khususnya pada kelas V SDN HULAAN Menganti – Gresik. Hal ini terjadi karena guru masih menggunakan model pembelajran konvensional dengan dominasi metode ceramah dalam pembelajarannya dan masih  berorientasi  pada guru ( teacher center ). Tujuan dari penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay – Two Stray untuk meningkatkan  aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang mana menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan catatan lapangan. Aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan selama dua siklus, pada siklus I yaitu 82,8%, dan pada siklus II meningkat  yaitu 91,2%. Pada aktivitas siswa pada siklus I yaitu 82,5%, dan meningkat pada siklus II yaitu 90,0%. Pada hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan selama dua siklus, dengan persentase ketuntasan 45,5% observasi awal, 77,30% pada siklus I, dan 93,20% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model kooperatif tipe Two Stay – Two Stray dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SDN Hulaan Menganti – Gresik. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Two Stay – Two Stray, Hasil Belajar Siswa     Abstract  The background of this research is the lack of the students learning result in the subject of social studies. Especially in the class of V SDN HULAAN Menganti – Gresik. It hapened because the teacher use conventional learning model with speech method domination in their learning and used orientation on teacher ( teacher center . the purpose of this research was researcher used cooperative learning model tipe Two Stay – Two Stray to develop teacher activities, students activities, and students learning result. The research method was the class action research methode which was used data analysis technique of descriptive qualitative and quantitative.data collection techniques were observation, test, and field note. Teacher activities increased during the second cycle, the cycle I is 82,8%, and the cycle II increased by 91,2%. On student activity also experienced improvement during two cycles with completeness percentage 82,5% on first cycle, and 90% on second cycle. Student learning result also experienced improvement during two cycles with completeness percentage 45,50% on early observation, 77,30% .on first cycles,and 93,20% on second cycles. That it may concluded that cooperative learning tipe Two Stay – Two Stray to increasestudent learning result on fifth graders social studies of state elementary school Hulaan, Menganti – Gresik.
