PENGARUH PENERAPAN STRATEGI DIRECTED READING THINGKING ACTIVITY (DRTA) TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA CERITA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak Keterampilan membaca perlu dimiliki oleh siswa agar mampu memahami pesan yang disampaikan penulis. Siswa kesulitan memahami isi cerita, sehingga tidak mampu menyebutkan unsur cerita. Dari kesulitan tersebut, diperlukan pembelajaran inovatif salah satunya dengan menerapkan strategi DRTA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada uji validitas 3 ahli dengan rata-rata 3,83- 3,83 dan 3,87 dengan keriteria layak digunakan. Pada uji reliabilitas mendapatkan rata-rata 4,82 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Pada uji normalitas, sampel sudah terdistribusi (tersebar) secara normal dengan Lhitung = 9,529 dan Ltabel = 18,5. Dan pada uji-t diperoleh bahwa thitung = 10,211 dan ttabel = 2,042 sehingga thitung > ttabel. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan strategi Directed Reading Thingking Activity (DRTA) terhadap keterampilan membaca cerita siswa kelas V SDN Cemengkalang Sidoarjo. Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, strategi Directed Reading Thingking Activity (DRTA), keterampilan membaca cerita.     Abstract Student must have reading skill in order to understanding the message that is told by the writer. The student gets dificulty to understanding the story. So the student can not tell the element of the story. From this dificulty, so it needs an inovation study that is apply DRTA strategy. The result of research shows that the validity test of 3 expert validity with the average 3,83-3,83 and 3,87 with worthy characteristic was used. While reliability test gets the average 4,82 with best criteria. On normality test the sampel has been distributed normally with Larithmatic = 9,529 and Ltabel =18,5. And on T-test is produced from tarithmatic = 10,211 and  ttabel = 2,042 so tarithmatic > ttabel. It shows that there the influence of the application of Directed Reading Thingking Activity (DRTA) strategy use towards the story reading skill of fiveth graders student of SDN Cemengkalang Sidoarjo.
