Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini didasarkan pada model Cooperative Script yang memiliki ciri belajar bersama teman sebaya dan bertukar informasi serta kenyataan di lapangan bahwa siswa dihadapkan pada pembelajaran berbasis teks pada penggunaan kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model Cooperative Script terhadap kompetensi membaca siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-experimental dengan jenis pre-test and post-test group. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis nonparametrik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan diberikan pre-test di awal pembelajaran, kemudian diberikan perlakuan dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model Cooperative Script berpengaruh positif terhadap kompetensi membaca pemahaman siswa. Kata Kunci: model Cooperative Script, kompetensi membaca pemahaman, Pre-Experimental design.   Abstract The study was based on a cooperative script model that has characteristic study with peers and exchange information in the field as well as the fact that students are exposed to the use of text-based learning curriculum of 2013. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Cooperative Script model to improving the reading competence of fifth grade students of primary school. This study was  Pre-experimental research with this type of pre-test and post-test group. Data collection techniques using test. Data analysis techniques used nonparametric analysis. This research was conducted by providing pre-test at the beginning of learning, then give treatment and post-test. The results showed the Cooperative Script model give positive effect on the students reading comprehension competence.
