Abstrak Hasil belajar siswa pada kelas IV SDN Lidah Wetan II Surabaya masih belum maksimal. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, kompetensi dasar yang seharusnya dikuasai oleh siswa belum terlaksana disebabkan oleh penyampaian pembelajaran yang hanya menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran penemuan, dan hasil belajar. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Quasi Exsperimental Designs yang menggunakan desain penelitian Noneequivalent Control Grup Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui adanya pengaruh signifikan antara penerapan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament dengan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil tes kelas eksperimen yang menunjukkan t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel yaitu 19,48 > 3,48. Dari hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT sangat baik bila diterapkan untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran. Based on the observation, the basic competences that should be mastered by the students had not performing. Caused the delivery that used the konvensional learning model. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of learning using discovery learning model, and the learning result. The design using Quasi-Experimental Design which used Noneequivalent Control Group research design. The data collection technique in this study using tests. Based on the results of this research, the significant influence of implementing Team Games Tournament learning model was improving the students’ learning result. It was proved from the result of tests in experimental group that showed t-count was greater than t-table that was 19.48 > 3.48. From these results could be seen using TGT learning model was very good when applied in order to support the learning activities.
