Abstrak Mata pelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar memerlukan aktivitas langsung dan sesuai dengan keadaan sebenarnya. .Model pembelajaran PBL (Problem based learning) merupakan model yang menyajikan masalah dunia nyata dan mendorong siswa belajar. Berdasarkan hasil observasi kelas IV di SDN Bringinbendo II, diperoleh data nilai IPA di bawah KKM karena penerapan model yang salah. Mengatasi hal tersebut, peneliti mengadakan penelitian mengenai pengaruh model PBL terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN Bringinbendo II Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental nonequivalent control group desaign. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran PBL terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV di SDN Bringinbendo II Sidoarjo dan respon siswa terhadap model PBL termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Kata kunci: IPA, model problem based learning, hasil belajar Abstract Science lesson in elementary school would require direct activities and according with the actual situation. PBL (Problem based learning) model which show the real problem in the society and motivate students to learn. Based on observation at SDN Bringinbendo II Sidoarjo, the result of science decrease under the completeness minimum criteria because learning model which didn’t apply as what it should be. To resolve the problem, the researcher held a research about the influence PBL model of science score at SDN Bringinbendo II Sidoarjo in 4th grade. The method used is quasi experiment nonequivalent control group desaign.
