<![CDATA[Abstract: A leader is a figure that is very influential in an organization. A village or region will develop depending on how the influence of a leader and village government apparatus in mobilizing the community to participate in each development activity. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of leadership on community participation in development in Beji Village, Junrejo District, Batu. This study used purposive sampling technique with a sample of 30 people. The technique for collecting data involved questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used validity, reliability simple linear regression, correlation test, and test of determination (R2). Based on the results of the t-test it was obtained a significant value of the independent and the dependent variables of 0.004≤ 0.005 so that the hypothesis H1 is accepted. It means that the leadership of Beji Village influenced the community participation in development because the independent variable has a value of t count 3.144≥ t table 2.042. While the results of the determination test (R2) R Squere value was 0.261 which means that the influence of independent variables over the dependent variable by 26.1 while the rest was explained by other factors not examined in this study.Keywords: Leadership, Community Participation, Development Abstrak: Pemimpin merupakan sosok yang sangat berpengruh pada sebuah organisasi desa atau wilayah akan berkembang tergantung bagaimana pengaruh dari seorang pemimpin dan aparatur pemerintah desa dalam memobilisasi masyarakat untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam setiap kegiataan pembangunan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaiamana pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan di desa Beji Kecamatan Junrejo Kota Batu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisoner (Angket) dan dokumentasi.teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji regresi linear sederhana, uji korelasi linear sederhana dan uji determinasi (R2) . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian uji t di peroleh nilai signifikan pada variabel independen terhadap dependen sebesar 0,004 ≤ 0,005 sehingga hipotesis H1 diterima yang artinya kepemimpinan desa Beji berpengaruh terhadap partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan. Karena variabel independen mempunyai nilai t hitung sebesar 3,144 ≥ t tabel 2,042. Sedangkan hasil uji determinasi (R2) nilai R Squere sebesar 0.261 yang mengandung pengertian pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen sebesar 26.1% sementara itu sisanya dijelaskan oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
