The IGD department is identical to the density that causes delays in taking action. This has an impact on patients who have to wait long to be examined and served. Not only that, the hospital experienced a loss of patients because they moved to another hospital or went home. Various conditions faced by nurses in the department of the emergency department cause various problems. Problems that often occur in emergency services include density so that the demand for services exceeds the capacity of the emergency department, the length of waiting time due to overcrowding or emergency activities. The problem of queuing on the emergency room is made worse by the patient waiting (transition patient). ED services in a hospital is one measure of the quality of hospital services in general. IGD is one part of the hospital that takes action based on the triage of the patient's condition (Musliha, 2010). Distribution of triage in patients is very important to prevent disability and death in patients. Therefore, IGD officers, especially doctors and nurses, must have more speed, skills and preparedness than medical staff in other rooms.
