<![CDATA[This research is analysing about the main characters’ conflict in mishaal bint fahd’s film’s “Death of a Princes”. The objectives of the study are to describe the kinds of conflict found in the “Death of a Princess’ Film” and to state the kinds of conflict described in the “Death of a Princess’ Film”. The problems of this study are what are the kinds of conflict found in the “Death of a Princess’ Film” and how are the kinds of conflict described in the “Death of a Princess’ Film. One of theories of conflict is Burhan Nurgiyantoro’s theory (2010) which describes ‘main characters’ conflict’ are used to clarify meaning, to provide vivid example, to emphasize, to stimulate associations and emotions, to give life to inanimate objects, to amuse, or to ornament.’ The result of this study is expected to enrich knowledge about conflict and increase the literary understanding in terms of literary work. Hopefully this research could be guidance to understand about the conflict in the literary work, especially in Death of a Princess’ film. Next, the advice for the other researcher who wants to do the same cases on research of the study is trying to cover the meaning of conflict through main character more clearly in order that the research can be done well. The researcher finds some of conflicts from the film Death of the Princess, such as; External conflict and Internal conflict. In the external conflict researcher finds only three that is included for it, namely; conflict between the protagonist and others characters, conflict between the protagonist and society and conflict between the protagonist and culture. Then, the internal conflict that is included for it, namely; self sacrifice for her loving, love and affection, at the last one is faithfulness. Furthermore, researcher uses qualitative research as a method of this study, since the data were in script of the film form.]]>
