Lake Toba is a favorite tourist spot for Simalungun people besides the sipiso-piso waterfall. The protected forest in Lake Toba ecotourism is a habitat for many species of animals, plants and fungi. Various types of fungi can be found in protected forests, and most of the fungi found are the Basidiomycota phylum group. Various references are made when there are many Basidiomycota phylum species that can be exploited but some are classified as dangerous fungi. This study aims to determine the diversity of the Basidiomycota phylum in Lake Toba. Research methods to determine the location of diversity were observed in fungal growth. The study was conducted by dividing into three plots with different temperatures and humidity. Of the three most common locations are Clitocybe nebulars which is a species of Basidiomycota nontoxic phylum. While the least found was Lepiota sp which is a poisoned mushroom
