This research aims to describe the process of implementing Project Based Learning (PBL) in improving learning motivation, writing skills, and the submission of learning outcomes in writing narrative (fable) of the at seventh grade students learn SMP Negeri 3 Blambanganumpu, academic year 2016/2017 through the implementation of PBL. The design of the research used is an experimental quasi that academic year descriptive. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and is implemented in several cycles. The results of this study indicate that the use of PBL can improve learning motivation, writing skills, and the submission of learning outcomes write narrative text increases.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan Project Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterampilan menulis, dan ketuntasan hasil belajar menulis teks narasi (fabel) peserta didik kelas VII A SMP Negeri 3 Blambanganumpu, Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi yang bersifat kualitatif deskriptif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan dilaksanakan dalam beberapa siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan PBL dapat membuktikan bahwa motivasi belajar, keterampilan menulis, dan ketuntasan hasil belajar meningkat.
