<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine how much the relationship between educational background and the economic level of parents with the level of physical fitness of eighth grade students of SMP N 1 Bukit Kemuning. The research method used is descriptive correlational. The sample used was 22 students drawn from a population of 222 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and TKJI tests. Data analysis uses product moment correlation. The conclusion of the study showed that there was a significant correlation of 0.584 between the educational background of parents and the economic level of parents with the level of physical fitness of eighth grade students of SMP N 1 Bukit Kemuning.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan latar belakang pendidikan dan tingkat ekonomi orang tua dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Bukit Kemuning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 22 siswa diambil dari populasi yang berjumlah 222 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes TKJI.Analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan sebesar 0.584 antara latar belakang pendidikan orang tua dan tingkat ekonomi orang tua dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Bukit Kemuning.Kata kunci: kebugaran jasmani, latar belakang pendidikan, tingkat ekonomi]]>
