Abstract

The problem of The research of the low learning outcomes of students, IVB class,  KKM that has been determined is 75. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of crossword puzzle type active learning strategies to the fourth grade Thematic learning outcomes of SD Negeri 6 Merak Batin Natar. The type of  the research used experimental research with experimental design of Non-Equivalent Group Design. The Date collection was done by using a questionnaire to measure the effectiveness of the influence of the implementation of crossword puzzle type active learning strategies, while multiple choice test questions to measure student learning outcomes. The results of the researces shoned that researces are influences from the application of the crossword puzzle type active learning strategies to the fourth grade Thematic learning outcomes of SD Negeri 6 Merak Batin Natar.Latar belakang rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik, yakni pada kelas IVB peserta didik yang belum mencapai ketuntasan. KKM yang telah ditentukan yaitu 75. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe crossword puzzle terhadap hasil belajar Tematik kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Merak Batin Natar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen Non-Equivalent Group Design. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus uji t-test diperoleh data thitung sebesar 3,61 sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2,02, perbandingan tersebut menunjukan (3,61 2,02) berarti Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe crossword puzzle terhadap hasil belajar Tematik kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Merak Batin Natar.Kata kunci: crossword puzzle, hasil belajar, tematik.
