<![CDATA[This research focuses on the effectiveness of the supervision of the Regional Environmental Office of Nagan Raya in overcoming liquid waste pollution in Darul Makmur District. The problem of liquid waste pollution especially in industrial area, that is Gampong Ujong Lamie activities of oil palm Management in PT Sawit Nagan Raya Makmur. The aims of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of the supervison of the Regional Environmental Office of Nagan Raya in overcoming liquid waste pollution. This study used qualitative method with a descriptive resource from the Ministry of Environment which is the head of environmental supervision and linking, General Manager of PT Sawit Nagan Raya Makmur, and the community of Gampong Ujong Lamie. This study used the theory of Handoko (2003) to see the timeliness of the supervision of the Regional Environmental Office. The results showed that surveillance activities were always scheduled and supervision was conducted on 4 times a year. The conclusion of this research is the supervision conducted by the Regional Environmental Office of Nagan Raya has effectively run.]]>
