One of a sub-district in Pangkajene and Kepulauan (Pangkep) Regency with a superior marine and fisheries potential is Bungoro District. This superior potential in fisheries sector is located in Bulu Cindea Village, Kec. Bungoro, and it makes as a great opportunity to invest. Some regional issues that become the focus on Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (in Indonesia is Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah–RPJMD) of the Regional Government of Pangkep Regency are fisheries and environmental aspects. Therefore, Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) in collaboration with Muhammadiyah University of Makassar (UNISMUH) and Regional Government of Pangkep Regency agreed to overcome these problems in three years (2019-2021). Several points will be carried out over the next three years; the development of community and industrial salt business, tiger shrimp farming, environmental and sustainable fishing practice, processed fish products, and the environmental management activities, including waste processing, the establishment of a waste bank and clean water management
