<![CDATA[This paper aims to describe that education is the formation of character which is based on truth. Humans are born with the potential of humanity and divinity. The goal of education is to actualize that potential and align both as a character. Christian teachers education colleges prepare teachers so that they have transformative quality, integrity and personality. The cornerstone of the character is intelligence (IESQ) so that teachers have a positive attitude, essential mindset, normative commitment and competence. Abstrak: Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bahwa pendidikan adalahpembentukan karakter, yakni karakter berlandaskan kebenaran. Manusia lahir dengan potensi kemanusiaan dan keilahian. Tugas pendidikan adalah mengaktualisasikan dan menyelaraskan kedua potensi tersebut menjadi karakter. LPTK Kristen menyiapkan guru berkarakter sehingga mereka memiliki kualitas, integritas dan kepribadian transformatif. Landasan karakter adalah kecerdasan (IESQ) sehingga guru memiliki sikap positif, mindset esensi, komitmen normatif dan kompetensi abiliti.]]>
