<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan upaya pelestarian kebudayaan lokal Kalimantan Barat oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia IKIP PGRI Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penitian yang digunakan adalah berupa hasil wawancara yang berkaitan dengan upaya pelestarian kebudayaan lokal, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga upaya pelestarian kebudayaan lokal Kalimantan Barat oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan sastra Indonesia IKIP PGRI Pontianak, yaitu (1) Upaya pelestarian kebudayaan lokal melalui pendidikan; (2) Upaya pelestarian kebudayaan lokal melalui penelitian; dan (3) Upaya pelestarian kebudayaan lokal melalui pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the efforts to preserve the local culture of West Kalimantan by the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program IKIP PGRI Pontianak. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects used were in the form of interviews related to the preservation of local culture, as well as documentation. The results showed that there were three efforts to preserve the local culture of West Kalimantan by the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program IKIP PGRI Pontianak, namely (1) Efforts to preserve local culture through education; (2) Efforts to preserve local culture through research; and (3) Efforts to preserve local culture through community service.
