Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran aktif terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa pada kelas IX MTs. Sirajul Ulum Pontianak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX MTs. Sirajul Ulum Pontianak. Teknik sampel yang dipilih adalah teknik cluster random sampling. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti memilih kelas IX A sebagai kelopok eksperimen dan kelas IX sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penggunaan metode pembelajaran aktif tipe team quiz berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa. Diperoleh nilai rata-rata 76,87 dengan standar deviasi 7,81, dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol dengan rata-rata nilai 69,18 dan standar deviasi 9,22. Dapat disimpulkan metode pembelajaran aktif tipe team quiz memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen sisw kelas IX MTs. Sirajul Ulum Pontianak. Abstract The purpose of this research was to find out wheater the application of active learning method tipe team quiz was evective in short story writing skill to the IX grade students of MTs. Sirajul Ulum Pontianak. This study was an experimental research. The research was designed as quasi experimental study. The population was IX grade student of MTs. Sirajul Ulum Pontianak. The sample was chosen by cluster random sampling method. In this study, the research selected IX A as the experimental group, and IX B as the control group. The result of the experiment showed that the application of of active learning method tipe team quiz was evective in short story writing skill to the student. Gained mean 76,87 with deviation standard 7,81. If compared to control group with mean 69, 18 with deviation standard 9,22. The active learning method tipe team quiz was applied was giving such an effect to the short story writing skill of the IX grade students of MTs. Sirajul Ulum Pontianak.
