Abstract

This research aims to develop student worksheet and describe its characteristics and validity as well as to describe the teachers and students responses to the product. This research used Borg and Gall design of research and development with only focused on the first five stage. Research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics analysis. The expert validation showed that the average percentage on content suitability aspect was 93.20% with very high criteria, while construction, and readability aspects were 76.00%, and 76.40% respectively with high criteria. The teachers responses on suitability, readability, and attractiveness aspects were 100.00%, 89.00%, and 94.00%, respectively with very high criteria. While students responses on readability and attractiveness were 85.48% and 89.40%, respectively with very high criteria. Based on these results, the product generated by this research is valid and worthy as sources of learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS dan mendeskripsikan karakteristik dan validitas LKS, serta mendeskripsikan tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Borg dan Gall dengan hanya berfokus pada lima tahap pertama. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif. Validasi ahli menunjukan bahwa rata-rata persentase aspek kesesuaian isi sebesar 93,20% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi, sedangkan aspek konstruksi, dan keterbacaan berturut-turut sebesar 76,00%, dan 76,40% dengan kriteria tinggi. Tanggapan guru pada aspek kesesuaian isi dengan kurikulum, keterbacaan, dan kemenarikan berturut-turut sebesar 100,00%, 89,00%, dan 94,00% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Serta tanggapan siswa pada aspek keterbacaan dan kemenarikan berturut-turut sebesar 85,48% dan 89,40% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media belajar.Kata kunci: ikatan kimia, LKS, representasi kimia
