PERBANDINGAN SIMAYANG TIPE-II DENGAN PROBLEM SOLVING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN METAKOGNISI DAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP

Abstract

This reseach was aimed to determine whether SiMaYang Tipe II learning model in improving metacognition abilities and concept mastery of electrolyte and non-electrolyte was better than problem solving learning model. The samples on this study were students of the 10th grade of MIA 1 as the 1st experiment class were applied to SiMaYang Type II model and the 10th grade of MIA 4 as the 2nd experiment class were applied to problem solving model at SMAN 1 Purbolinggo where they were got by using cluster random sampling. The results research indicates that SiMaYang Type II learning model to improve metacognition abilities and concept mastery was better than use problem solving learning model. Penelitian ini ber­tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran SiMaYang Tipe II dalam me­ningkatkan kemampuan metakognisi dan penguasaan konsep lebih baik di­banding­kan dengan model pembelajaran problem solving pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit. Sampel dalam peneliti­an ini adalah kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen I yang di­terap­kan  model SiMaYang Tipe II dan X MIA4sebagai kelas eksperimen II yang di­terap­kan model problem solving di SMAN 1 Purbolinggo dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil Penelitian me­nunjuk­an bahwa model pembelajaran SiMaYang Tipe II dalam meningkat­kan kemampu­an metakognisi dan penguasaan konsep lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pem­belajaran problem solving. Kata kunci: metakognisi, problem solving, SiMaYang Tipe II
