This article aims to understand the diversity of cultural knowledge of the Ndiken clan of the Marori Men Gey ethnic group in Merauke district of Papua Province about the environment. The historical relation of man with the surrounding natural environment fosters natural knowledge, culture, and language in the life of ethnic communities in the land of Papua. The values and knowledge created are inherited and embedded in their daily lives. The diversity of cultural ecological knowledge has become an important source in understanding the e?orts to utilize and conserve natural resources in the land of Papua.
