MENINGKATKAN KECERDASAN SOSIAL ANAK MELALUI METODE BERMAIN PERAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN STEAM DI PAUD NURUL IHSAN

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to examine children's social intelligence through role-playing methods in STEAM learning in PAUD Nurul Ihsan. The reason for the research was conducted to find out the extent of the results of increasing children's social intelligence abilities in STEAM learning through role-playing methods in PAUD Nurul Ihsan. The study population was PAUD Nurul Ihsan. The research subjects are group B (5-6) years with a total of 20 people consisting of 6 men and 14 women. The method used is Classroom Action Research consists of two cycles. Data analysis uses quantitative data obtained from the results of the first cycle and then compared with the results of the second cycle. Data collection techniques using observations in the form of observation checklist sheets. Observation results showed an increase in children's social intelligence in STEAM learning through role-playing methods with the results of the pre-cycle 10% (2 people), cycle I 15% (3 people), and cycle II 60% (12 people). From these data, the conclusion is that STEAM learning can improve children's social intelligence making children easier to interact with others, express opinions, and children become brave.Tujuan dari penelitian  untuk menelaah kecerdasan sosial anak melalui metode bermain peran dalam pembelajaran STEAM di PAUD Nurul Ihsan. Alasan dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hasil peningkatan kemampuan kecerdasan sosial anak dalam pembelajaran STEAM melalui metode bermain peran di PAUD Nurul Ihsan. Populasi penelitian adalah PAUD Nurul Ihsan. Subyek penelitian yaitu kelompok B (5-6) tahun dengan jumlah 20 orang terdiri dari 6 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas terdiri dari dua siklus. Analisis data menggunakan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil siklus kesatu dan kemudian dibandingkan dengan hasil siklus kedua. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi berupa lembar observasi check list. Hasil observasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kecerdasan sosial anak dalam pembelajaran STEAM melalui metode bermain peran dengan hasil pra siklus 10% (2 orang), siklus I 15% (3 orang), dan siklus II 60% (12 orang). Dari data tersebut kesimpulannya adalah melalui pembelajaran STEAM dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan sosial anak menjadikan anak lebih mudah untuk berinteraksi dengan orang lain, mengemukakan pendapat, dan anak menjadi berani.
