<![CDATA[Penyakit Tuberkulosis merupakan penyakit infeksi kronis pada manusia yang disebabkan oleh mycobacterium tuberculosis yang menyebabkan pasien yang terinfeksi akan memproduksi droplet yang mengandung basil kuman tuberkulosis ketika batuk, bersin atau berbicara. Tuberkulosis menjadi salah satu penyakit yang pengendaliannya menjadi komitmenglobal karena kasus tuberkulosis paru di seluruh dunia terbilang cukup tinggi. Untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap klien tentang pencegahan penularan penyakit tuberkulosis paru. Menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan instrumen berupa lembar kuesioner. Subyek penelitian menggunakan 30 responden. Pengetahuan klien dari 30 responden,terdapat 21 responden (70%) dengan pengetahuan baik dan 9 responden (30%) dengan pengetahuan cukup. Sedangkan sikap klien dari 30 responden, terdapat 19 responden (63,33%) dengan sikap baik dan 11 responden (36,33%) dengan sikap cukup. Pengetahuan dan sikap yang baik dapat mempengaruhi pencegahan penularan tuberkulosis paru.Kata kunci: Tuberkulosis Paru, Pengetahuan, Sikap, Pencegahan Penularan.ABSTRACTTuberculosis is a chronoic infectious disease in humans caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis which causes infected patients to produce droplets containing tuberculosis bacilli when coughing, sneezing or talking.
