Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru fisika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Purworejo pascasertifikasi guru serta hubungan antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru fisika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Purworejo pascasertifikasi guru. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian survey ini adalah seluruh guru fisika SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Purworejo yang telah lulus sertifikasi guru. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket motivasi kerja dan lembar observasi kinerja guru fisika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: (1) profil motivasi kerja guru fisika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Purworejo pascasertifikasi guru berada pada interval dengan kategori sangat baik; (2) profil kinerja guru fisika ada ditnjau dari aspek perencanaan pembelajaran berada pada interval dengan katergori sangat baik, dan aspek pelaksanaan serta penilaian pembelajaran berada pada interval dengan kategori sangat baik; (3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara motivasi kerja guru fisika dengan kinerja guru fisika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Purworejo pascasertifikasi guru.Kata Kunci: motivasi kerja, kinerja guru, dan pascasertifikasi guru. The Profile of Working Motivation and Senior High School Teachers’ Performance in Purworejo District After Teachers’ Certification AbstractThis research aimed to find out the profile of working motivation and performance of senior high school physics teachers after the teacher’s certification in Purworejo district, and the correlation between working motivation and performance of the physic teacher in Purworejo district after the teacher’s certification. The population and samples of this survey research were all physics teachers in senior high schools in Purworejo district that have passed teacher certification. The data collection instruments were a working motivation questionnaire and the observation sheet of teacher performance. The result of this research indicated that, (1) The profile of senior high school physics teachers working motivation after the teacher’s certification in Purworejo district was in interval 4.2 and a very good category. (2) The profile of teacher’s performances on teaching plan aspect was in interval 4.2, and a very good category. The teaching performance and evaluation aspect also in interval 4.2, and a very good category. (3) There was positive correlation between working motivation of the physics teachers with their performance in Purworejo district after the teacher’s certification.Keywords: working motivation, teacher’s performance, and efter the teacher’s certification
