Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan (1)Menjelaskan kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam merepresentasikan persoalan program linear. (2)Menjelaskan pembelajaran matematika dengan teknik scaffolding berbantuan tablet dapat mengatasi kesulitan siswa menguasai representasi matematis dalam materi program linear. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 8 orang siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa teknik scaffolding berbantuan tablet dapat membantu mengatasi kesulitan representasi matematis siswa dalam materi program linear dengan langkah-langkah: (1) Memberikan soal tes pertama untuk mengetahui kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam merepresentasikan dalam materi program linear, (2) Memberikan treatment yang sesuai kepada siswa untuk mengatasi kesulitan yang dialami. Kesulitan siswa berupa kesulitan merepresentasikan informasi dalam soal sehingga tidak memahami masalah dengan baik, belum mampu mengubah masalah verbal ke model matematka.Setelah diberikan pembelajaran berbantuan tablet adalah siswa dapat merepresentasikan gagasan matematis dengan simbolik, tabel, dan grafik untuk memperjelas keadaan atau masalah yang berkaitan dengan program linear.  Kata kunci : Teknik Scaffolding, Tablet, Representasi Matematis Abstract : This research is purposed (1) to explain the difficulties that the students have in representing about program linier (2) to explain the mathematics materials using scaffolding technique by tablet is able to overcome the students’ difficulties in understanding mathematics presentation in program linier material. The research methodology is descriptive analysis. The samples of the research are eight students. The result of data analysis saws that scaffolding technique by tablet is able to help to overcome the students’ difficulties in understanding mathematics presentation in program linier material with the procedures are: (1) giving pre-test to the students to see the students’ difficulties that they have in understanding program linier material, (2) giving treatment which is appropriate to the students to overcome the problems they have. The students’ difficulty is they are difficult to understand the information presented in the mathematics test items, so that they do not understand the problem well, they do not know yet how to change verbal problem to mathematics style. After given the learning using tablet, the students will be able to represent the concept of mathematics with symbol, table, and graphic to emphasize the situation and the problem which are related to program linier.
