The influence of technique Two Stay Two Stray toward the outcome of social science (IPS) on the 4th grade student. The purpose of this research is to analized wether the use of technique Two Stay Two Stray toward the outcome of social science (IPS) on the 4th grade student. The method which used in this research is experimental method. The form of this experimental research is quasi experimental design. Based on the data analysis of final test average result control class 61,40 and post-test average experimental class 82,25, get the score thitung around 9,167 and ttabel (a = 5% ) around 1,997 which mean greater than table ( > ) ( 9,167 > 1,997 ) so, ha is accepted. And from the counting result of effect size (ES), acquired ES 1,87 ( high criteria ) this is mean cooperative learning technique Two Stay Two Stray give a high influence toward the outcome of social science ( IPS ) study on the 4th grade students of SDN 35 in south Pontianak. Key word: Technique Two Stay Two StrayAbstrak: Pengaruh Teknik Two Stay Two Stray Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Kelas IV. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah penggunaan Teknik Two Stay Two Stray dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan adalah quasi exsperimental design. Berdasarkan analisis data dari hasil rata-rata tes akhir (post-test) kelas kontrol 61,40 dan rata-rata tes akhir (post-test) kelas eksperimen 82,25, diperoleh thitung sebesar 9,167 dan ttabel (? = 5 %) sebesar 1,997 yang berarti thitung > ttabel (9,167 > 1,997), maka Ha diterima. Dan dari hasil perhitungan effect size (ES),diperoleh ES sebesar 1,87 (kriteria tinggi). Hal ini berarti model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik Two Stay Two Stray memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV SDN 35 Pontianak Selatan.
