Abstract This research aimed to describe the effect of the implementation of cooperative script model using picture for the instruction writing skill in grade four of elementary school. This research used experiment model with quasi experiment design non equivalent control group design. The research subject is to students. The sample used is simple random sampling. The tools of collecting data is writing test in the from of essay test. The average result of experiment class post test is 71,63 and the result of control class’s post test is 43,5. After t test was abtained tcalculate abaout 6,367 and ttabel (X = 5% and dk = 60-2 = 58) about 1,94321. Because tcalculate (6,367) > ttable (1,9421). The result of the calculation of effect size was about 1,517. It was included as high cherefore, the cooperative script model using picture affected the students’ writing skill of instuction.  Kata Kunci: Cooperative Script, Picture, Intruction writing
