Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the social control of deviant behavior troubled students at SMAN 1 Sengah Temila. It is a qualitative descriptive research. The results showed that social control has been going well but not entirely effective. It is seen from the persistence of deviant behavior that occurs as late, to the canteen outside recess, did not join the flag ceremony for no apparent reason, outside the classroom (noisier) when the teacher is not there, and truancy (small portion), not neatly dressed in school and outside of school (clothes often issued if there is no teacher who saw). Factors causing the deviant behavior of students problematic internal factors and external factors. Efforts are being made to tackle school student misbehavior problems in SMAN 1 Sengah Temila that with education, religion, advice, warning, make a statement, calling the parents and the punishment / sanctions (physical). Keywords: Social Control, Deviant Behavioral, Troubled Students Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengendalian sosial perilaku menyimpang siswa bermasalah di SMA Negeri 1 Sengah Temila. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian sosial perilaku menyimpang siswa bermasalah di SMA Negeri 1 Sengah Temila sudah berjalan dengan baik namun tidak sepenuhnya efektif. Hal ini dilihat dari masih adanya perilaku menyimpang yang terjadi seperti terlambat, ke kantin diluar jam istirahat, tidak ikut upacara bendera tanpa alasan yang jelas, ke luar kelas (ribut) ketika guru tidak ada, dan bolos (sebagian kecil), tidak rapi berpakaian di lingkungan sekolah dan di luar sekolah (baju sering dikeluarkan apabila tidak ada guru yang melihat). Faktor penyebab perilaku menyimpang siswa bermasalah yaitu faktor internal dan faktor ekternal. Upaya yang dilakukan pihak sekolah untuk mengatasi perilaku menyimpang siswa bermasalah di SMAN Negeri 1 Sengah Temila yaitu dengan pendidikan, ajaran agama, nasehat, teguran, membuat surat pernyataan, pemanggilan orang tua dan hukuman/sanksi (fisik).   Kata kunci : Pengendalian Sosial, Perilaku Menyimpang, Siswa Bermasalah
