Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to find out,The learning outcomes of VIIA class students in the submission of natural resources and maritime potential of Indonesia by using learning video media  This study uses the Quasi Experimental Design method. With the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Experimental groups were treated with learning video media, while the control group was treated with conventional media. The population of this study was all students of class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Matan Hilir Selatan. outcomes test and observation sheet. The data analysis technique uses the t-test. The results showed that the calculation of the average posttest value of the experimental class was 70,38 higher than the control class average of 50,77. From the results of the t-test using the SPSS program, the Asymp.ig (2-tailed) value was 0.001 <0.05. This means that there is a significant difference between the results of the experimental class posttest with the use of learning video media with the control class using conventional media. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive influence on the use of video learning media on student learning outcomes in junior high school social science subjects.Keywords: Learning Video Media, Social Sciences Learning Outcomes.
