Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah usaha untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik melalui pemanfaatan media lingkungan pada pelajaran Matematika kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Segedong Pontianak. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dan sifat penelitian bersifat kolaboratif, subjek penelitian yaitu guru dan peserta didik kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Segedong Pontianak yang berjumlah 28 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung, teknik dokumenter, dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan observasi melalui pemanfaatan media lingkungan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan penerapan pemanfaatan media lingkungan pada pelajaran Matematika di kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Segedong Pontianak dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik, diterima. Kata kunci : Aktivitas Pembelajaran, Matematika, Pemanfaatan Media Lingkungan Abstract: The problem in this research is an attempt to improve the learners' learning activities by using utilization of environmental media in mathematic subjects at the second grade students in the Elementary School 1 Segedong Pontianak. This research method is descriptive, in classroom action research, and the nature of this research is qualitative research, the research subjects are teacher and learners elementary school second grade students in the Elementary School 1 Segedong Pontianak which consisted of 28 people in whole. The techniques used in this research were the technique of direct observation, documentary technique, and data collection tool were used as observation guidelines. The result based on observation by using utilization of environmental media had improved learners learning activities. This shows that the hypothesis that stated the application utilization of environmental media in mathematic lessons at the second grade in the  Elementary School 1 Segedong Pontianak can improve learners' learning activities, accepted.
