<![CDATA[Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi unsur, senyawa, campuran dengan metode praktikum bersetting kooperatif pada kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Mempawah. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan rancangan penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi setiap siklusnya. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, tes hasil belajar dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persentase motivasi siswa mengalami peningkatan dari 81.34% pada siklus I menjadi 85.74% pada siklus II. Persentase hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari 56.25% pada siklus I menjadi 65.63% pada siklus II. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Metode Praktikum  Bersetting Kooperatif, Unsur, Senyawa, Campuran Abstract: This research aims to improving the motivation and students’ learning outcomes on elemental materials, compounds, mixtures with practical method uses cooperative setting in class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Mempawah. The type of this research is classroom action research with research plan as follow planning, implementation, observation and reflection on each cycle. The instrument that uses in this research is observation sheet, test and questionnaire. The result of this study show that the percentage of students’ motivation is 81.34% in cycle I improve become 85.74% in cycle II.
