Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan sistem poin dalam menanggulangi siswa yang melanggar aturan di SMA N 2 Pontianak. Pendekatan yang digunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan informan sebanyak 9 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keempat tahapan yang mencakup pemberitahuan, teguran, peringatan dan hukuman dalam penerapan sistem poin di SMA N 2 Pontianak diaplikasikan kedalam berbagai bentuk. Pada tahap pemberitahuan dilakukan dengan sosialisasi saat MOS (Masa Orientasi Siswa), penyebaran surat edaran kebijakan sistem poin, adanya gambar dan penempelan tata tertib di setiap kelas. Pada tahap teguran dilakukan dengan teguran langsung dan teguran tak langsung. Pada tahap peringatan terdapat peringatan lisan dan tulisan. Pada tahap hukuman pihak sekolah melakukan skorsing, home visit dan pengembalian kepada orang tua. Adanya penerepan kebijakan ini memiliki dampak yang berbeda-beda pada tiap siswa yang melanggar aturan, akan tetapi bedasarkan observasi dan wawancara kepada informan (siswa) kebijakan ini memiliki efek jera untuk siswa tidak melakukan pelanggaran kembali.   Kata Kunci : Sistem Poin, Pelanggaran Aturan. Abstract : The purpose of conducting this research is to determine the application of the points system to overcome the problem that students break the rules in SMA N 2 Pontianak. The research applies qualitative approach with descriptive methods and this research involves 9 informants. The results shows that four stages which include notification, reprimand, warning and punishment. Notification stage is applied in student orientation period. The school informed about the rules of the school. The school also provided pictures of rules in the school and every classroom. In reprimand stage, there are direct reprimand and indirect reprimand. In warning stage, there are verbal warning and written warning. In the punishment stage, the school conducts suspension and home visit. The school also returns the student to the parents if it is necessary. The applying of points system in SMA N 2 Pontianak has a different impact on each student who breaks the rules, but based on the observation and interview to informants (students) this system has a deterrent effect on students so that they will not break the rules again.
