Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan aktivitas belajar melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses pembelajaran IPA kelas III SDN 11 Sungai Raya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan keterampilan proses dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas III SDN 11 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik, penelitian ini memperoleh peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dari hasil siklus I dan II. Pada siklus I persentase aktivitas belajar siswa sebanyak 55,55% sedangkan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan menjadi 79,63%. Begitu juga dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengalami kenaikan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 58,70 yang meningkat menjadi 78,52 pada siklus II. Hal ini berarti pembelajaran IPA melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses memberi dampak yang signifikan terhadap tingginya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SDN 11 Sungai Raya. Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, pendekatan keterampilan proses, pembelajaran IPA Abstract: Improving learning activities through the process skills approach in natural sciences education of third grade students of SDN 11 Sungai Raya. This study aimed to determine the effect of process skills approach to enhance the activity and students learning outcomes in learning science at third grade students of SDN 11 Sungai Raya. The research method used is descriptive method whereas the form of research is classroom action research. Based on statistical calculations, this research has received increasing activity and students learning outcomes from the cycles I and II. In the first cycle the percentage of students learning activities is 55.55%, while in the second cycle increased to 79.63%. So also with the average student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle II. In the first cycle the average student learning outcomes at 58.70 which increased to 78.52 in the second cycle. In fact, this means learning science process skills approach gives a significant impact on the increasing activities as well as the result of learning of the third grade students of SDN 11 Sungai Raya.
