The purpose of this study is to explain and describe the process of improving the learning outcomes of students using the strategy said the demonstration project (show and tell) the motion of the material basis in the Dayak dance class VIII Junior High Madrasa Mujahidiin Pontianak. Research carried out in the form of action researct (action research) with methods of descriptive and qualitative approach. The results include the average value of the study of students at the time of the pre-cycle 64.41. After the first act during the first cycle, the average increase in the value of learning outcomes of students by 11.98 or 18.6%, to 76.39. the, average value of the study of students increased again after the second action during the second cycle of 7.59 or 9.92%, to 83.98. It can be concluded that the use of performance strategies explained (show and tell) can improve the learning outcomes of students in basic motion meteri Dayak dance in junior secondary school class VIII Mujahidin Pontianak. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan proses peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan strategi proyek unjuk tutur (show and tell) dalam materi gerak dasar tari Dayak di kelas VIII Madrasa Tsanawiyah Mujahidin Pontianak. Penelitian yang dilakukan berbentuk penelitian tindakan (action research) dengan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian antara lain nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik pada saat pra siklus yakni 64,41. Setelah dilakukan tindakan pertama pada saat siklus I, peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 11,98 atau 18,6% menjadi 76,39. Kemudian, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kembali meningkat setelah dilakukan tindakan kedua pada saat siklus II sebesar 7,59 atau 9,92% menjadi 83,98. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan strategi unjuk tutur (show and tell) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam meteri gerak dasar tari Dayak di kelas VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Mujahidin Pontianak.
