Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan strategi heuristik Krulik dan Rudnick terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika di SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Pre-Eksperimen Design dengan rancangan penelitian One-Shot Case Study. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Ki Hajar Dewantara Pontianak yang berjumlah 11 siswa. Hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh sebesar 45,45, hasil tersebut tergolong kriteria cukup dan tidak tercapai tujuan setelah pembelajaran. Kriteria aktivitas belajar siswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran tergolong tinggi sehingga dikatakan siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran. Kriteria observasi kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran terbilang sangat baik. Karena satu dari tiga indikator tidak tercapai tujuan setelah pembelajaran, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan strategi heuristik Krulik dan Rudnick dikatakan kurang efektif. Kata kunci  : Matematika Realistik, Heuristik Krulik, Rudnick Abstract: This research aims to find out the effectiveness of realistic mathematics education with Krulik and Rudnick’s heuristic strategy on mathematical problem solving ability in junior high school. This research method was Pre-Experimental method with One-Shot Case Study design. The sample of this research was 11 eighth grade students of SMP Ki Hajar Dewantara Pontianak. The test result of problem solving ability showed the average value obtained is 45,45, the result was classified as enough and did not achieve the purpose after learning. The criteria of students learning activity during learning process classified as high, so it could be said that students were active in learning. The criteria of observation result teacher’s skill in learning management was very good. Since one of three indicators was not achieved after the learning processes, it can be concluded that realistic mathematics education with Krulik and Rudnick’s heuristic strategy was less effective.   Keywords       :           Realistic Mathematics, Heuristic Krulik, Rudnick
