PENGGUNAAN MEDIA MANIPULATIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This research aims to find whether the learning by using manipulative media nets can improve student learning outcomes in SDN 08 North Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method by using collaborative classroom action research. The research was conducted in two cycles. The result of the research showed that the ability of researchers in the learning plan, the mean score in cycle 1 was 3.33 and the mean score in cycle 2 was 4.00. Implement the learning ability of researchers, the mean score was 3.37 in cycle 1 and the mean score in cycle 2 was 4.00. Based on the finding, it can be summed up that there were some improvements in students achievement by using manipulative media nets. The mean score of the students in cycle 1 was 78.25 with 76.68% mastery learning. While, from the cycle 2 the mean score of the students was 92,00 with 100% mastery learning. Key Words: Manipulative Media Nets, Learning Outcomes Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media manipulatif jaring-jaring dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SDN 08 Pontianak Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas dan sifat penelitiannya adalah kolaborasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah kemampuan peneliti dalam merencanakan pembelajaran, skor rata-rata siklus 1 sebesar 3,33 dan pada siklus 2 sebesar 4,00. Kemampuan peneliti melaksanakan pembelajaran, skor rata-rata siklus 1 sebesar 3,37 dan pada siklus 2 sebesar 4,00. Akibat penggunaan media manipulatif jaring-jaring nilai siswa pada siklus 1 rata-rata 78,25 dengan ketuntasan belajar 76,68% meningkat pada siklus 2 dengan rata-rata 92,00 dengan ketuntasan belajar sekitar 100%.
