<![CDATA[Educational world can not be separated from the phenomonenon of violence. School violence occurs not only among student, but also between teachers and students. A number of previous studies show that phenomenon of school violence take place due to the disfunction within social-family institutions, schools and social environment. In addition, other studies find that alienation and domination constitue the roots of school violence. In this research, the writer argues that school violence is the product of social construction which occurs in schools. The process of constructing social violence that takes place continuously in schools has resulted in violent acts happening from generation to generation in the chool itself. This research employs a constructivism approach by applying the social construction theory of Peter Berger and Luckmann. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological Approach. Dunia pendidikan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari fenomena kekerasan. Kekerasan dalam sekolah terjadi tidak hanya di antara para murid, tetapi juga antara para guru dan murid. Sebelumnya sejumlah studi menunjukkan bahwa fenomenan kekerasan di sekolah terjadi berkaitan dengan kesalahan fungsional dalam lembaga-lembaga sosial-keluarga, sekolah-sekolah dan lingkungan sosial. Sebagai tambahan, studi-studi yang lainnya menemukan bahwa alienasi dan dominasi membentuk akar dari kekerasan di sekolah. Dalam riset ini, penulis membuktikan bahwa kekerasan di sekolah merupakan produk dari konstruksi sosial yang terjadi di sekolah. Proses dari konstruksi kekerasan sosial yang terjadi secara terus-menerus di dalam sekolahmenghasilkan tindakan-tindakan kekerasan yang terjadi dari generasi ke generasi di dalam sekolah itu sendiri. Riset ini mengerjakan sebuah pendekatan konstruktivisme dengan aplikasi teori konstruksi sosial dari Peter Berger dan Luckmann. Risetini menggunakan sebuah metode kualitatif dengan sebuah pendekatan fenomenologi.]]>
