Dr. Ratulangi Kota palopo 91913 ervianingsihrazak@gmail.com razakmalangke@ymail.com ABSTRAK Penanganan penyembuhan luka bakar yaitu mencegah infeksi pada luka, memacu pembentukan kolagen agar dapat menutup permukaan luka. Buah tomat (Solanum lycopersicum)mengandung alkaloid dan flavonoid berkhasiat antibakteri yang mencegah infeksi, saponin dalam buah tomat membantu pembentukan kolagen dalam mempercepat penyembuhan luka bakar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian ekstrak buah tomat terhadap penyembuhan luka bakar yang diberikan secara topikal pada hewan uji kelinci (Oryctolagus cuniculus). Metode penelitian adalah racangan acak lengkap dimana terdapat 5 perlakuan, yaitu 3 perlakuan dengan konsentrasi 50%,60%, dan 70% dan 2 perlakuan yaitu kontrol negatif menggunakan aquadest serta kontrol postif menggunakan bioplacenton. Hasil penelitian yaitu uji anova pada taraf kepercayaan 5% dimana F hitung (23,75) > F tabel (2,71) yang berarti hipotesa diterima. Dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT (Beda Nyata Terkecil) menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak buah tomat dengan konsentrasi 50%, 60%, dan 70% dapat menghasilkan efek yang berbeda nyata, dengan efek yang optimum adalah ekstrak buah tomat dengan konsentrasi 70%. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu ekstrak buah tomat dapat menyembuhkan luka bakar. Tomato fruit (Solanum lycopersicum) contains alkaloids and antibacterial flavonoids that prevent infection, saponins in tomatoes help the formation of collagen in accelerating healing of burns. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of tomato extract on the healing of burns given topically in rabbit test animals (Oryctolagus cuniculus).The research method is complet randomized randomization where there are 5 treatments, that is 3 treatment with concentration 50%, 60%, and 70% and 2 treatment that is negative control used aquadest and positive control using bioplacenton. Based on the results of the anova test at the 5% confidence level where F arithmetic (23.75)> F table (2.71) which means the hypothesis is accepted.
