Abstract

Kata kunci: nuscale, PLTN daya kecil, generasi 3+ ABSTRACTPROSPECT STUDY OF NUSCALE SMALL NPP IN INDONESIA. Electrical energy demand in Indonesia has increased proportional with population growth, incomes, and improving people's lifestyle, such as the use of information technology, etc. A variety of alternative power generation needs to be studied in terms of supply reliability, economy, safety, security, environmental impact, so as to meet the prescribed criteria. Conventional large nuclear power plant construction in Indonesia is constrained to the rejection of society and thus cast doubt on the government financing decisions. NuScale small nuclear power plant is one alternative that can be implemented in Indonesia because of the cost of capital is small, the construction unit of the n easily tailored to the needs, short construction time (about 3 years), the installed capacity of greater than 90%, passive safety systems and inherent. Keywords: nuscale, small NPP,generation 3+
