<![CDATA[The problem that often occurs in schools is that there are still many students who have not completed in compulsory subjects, especially mathematics, as found by researchers at Marsawa Elementary School 016 Sentajo Raya District, the low student learning outcomes maked the teacher to be able to deliver the material well. The purpose of this study is to improve and improve student mathematics learning outcomes. The form of research is classroom action research. The results of the study can be seen from the improvement in student learning outcomes that occur at each meeting. Data on the increase in student learning outcomes were found before the action data with an average of 68, then after being given an action carried out the daily test I the average student learning outcomes amounted to 84, and on the daily test II the average student learning outcomes were 93. we can see the data on the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes that the application of the contextual method to mathematics learning is effectively used.]]>
