This research is motivated by the low of learning activity of class V SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaru. This study aimsto improve the learning activity of science material class light properties of grade V SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaruwith the application of the implementation of active observation and feedback learning strategy. The subjects ofthis study are all students of class V SDN 157 Pekanbaru which amounted to 27 people. The form of research isclassroom action research. The instrument of this research consists of performance instruments and datacollection instruments in the form of observation sheet of teacher activity and student activity. Based on theresults of research and discussion can be concluded that students' learning activities on science subjects, onbefore the action of student learning activities are low with the acquisition of 46.3 percentage points, at thesecond meeting of the first cycle 52.8. While on the first meeting cycles II increased in the percentage of 69.4and at the second meeting obtained 85.2 percentage points.
