Abstract

This research is a classroom action research which is based on the low learning result of mathematics andCivics. Of the 17 students only 9 students who achieve the minimum completeness criteria set by the school thatis 60. This study was conducted in class V of SDN 014 Pulau Sipan Hilir Kecamatan Inuman, with the number ofstudents 17 students. This research was conducted two cycles with four stages, namely: perencanaa, pelaksaan,observation, and reflection. The result of the research stated that through the implementation of the method ofgroup discussion of the students' mathematics learning outcomes, the number of completed students was 11students (64.70%) and in cycle II the total number of students was 14 students (82.35%).
