Periodontal diseases are common inflamed disorders such as gingivitis and periodontitiscaused by the pathogens present in the biofilm which is seen subgingivally such as Aggregatibacteractinomycetemcomitans, Porphyromonas gingivalis, Treponema denticola and Tannerella forsythia thatactivate inflammatory, innate and adaptive responses of the immune system.
