PENGARUH SUHU PADA EKSTRAKSI EMAS DARI LIMBAH RAM (RANDOM ACCES MEMORY)KOMPUTER

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu terhadap proses ekstraksi emas pada RAM (Random Acces Memory)komputer menggunakan pelarut aqua regia, dan mengetahui volume aqua regia optimum untuk ekstraksi tersebut. Tahapan yang dilakukan adalah meliputi preparasi sampel, pelarutan sampel, pengendapan emas dengan Na2S2O5, dan menganalisis kadar ekstrak emas menggunakan SSA (Spektroskopi Serapan Atom) AA 620 SHIMADZU dan dikarakterisasi dengan alat instrumentasi XRF (X-Ray Fluorescense) merk PAN Analytical – Minipal 4. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kandungan emas dari RAM  komputer bisa dipisahkan dengan ekstraksi menggunakan pelarut aqua regia.Ekstraksi pada suhu ruang memberikan hasil yang lebih baik apabila dibandingkan dengan menggunakan pemanasan, dimanakonsentrasi emas yang terekstraksi sebesar57,9615 ppm, serta kadar Au endapan sebesar 6,24 %. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstraksi emas secara optimum dapat dilakukan pada suhu ruang menggunakan pelarut aqua regia: air dengan volume sebesar 30 mL : 70 mL.   Kata kunci:AAS, pemisahan emas, RAM komputer, XRF   ABSTRACT   The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of temperature on the gold extraction process in RAM ( Random Access Memory ) computer using solvent aqua regia , and aqua regia determine the optimum volume for the extraction . Steps being taken are covering sample preparation , sample dissolution , precipitation of gold with Na2S2O5 , and analyze the levels of extract gold using AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy) Shimadzu AA 620 and characterized by XRF instrumentation tool ( X - Ray fluorescense) PAN Analytical brands - MiniPal 4 . the results of this study indicate that the gold content of the computer's RAM can be separated by solvent extraction using aqua regia . Extraction at room temperature gives better results when compared with the use of heating , where the concentration of gold is extracted by 57.9615 ppm , and the content of Au deposition at 6.24% . It can be concluded that the optimum gold extraction can be performed at room temperature using aqua regia solvent : water with a volume of 30 mL : 70 mL .   Keywords: AAS, computer RAM, gold extraction, XRF
