<![CDATA[The obyective of this research is to recognize the domestic fowl performance according to the quantitative characteristics on the location of RRMC (Rural Rearing Multiplication Centre) Central Java. It takes place in Kendal Regency (Gemuh Subdistrict}, Pemalang Regency (Ampelgading Subdistrict), Brebes (Bumiayu Subdistrict) and Sukoharjo (Bendosari Sub district). Domestic fowls used in this study were 1000 hens dan I 00 cocks by the age of 4 to 6 months, which located in 4 areas of RRMC in Central Java. Limited random sample was taken in every location ofRRMC. Which were 250 adult domestic fowl hens dan 25 domestic fowl cocks for each location. The quantitative characteristics that being observed were body weight, tibia length, shank length dan shank twist. Data for quantitative characteristics was calculated based on descriptive statistic and multiple regression by using Costa! computer program. The result showed that the variation of domestic fowl hens dan cocks body weight were very significant. The domestic fowl hens or cock body weight could be predicated from their tibia length, shank length and shank twist.]]>
