Sehingga timbul antibodi terhadap antigen tersebut. Pada\ saluran reproduksi pria; testis, plasma semen dan sperma dianggap sebagai nonself antigen, hat ini disebutAutoimun. Bila terjadi kerusakan jaringan akibat trauma atau infeksi, maka akan terjadi proses extravakasi, maka tubuh segera rnembentuk antibodi terhadap sperma tersebut. Untuk mendeteksi keberadaan antibodi anti sperma tersebut, terdapat beberapa cara, antara lain; Uji aglutinasi sperma, Uji immobilisasi sperma, Uji sitotoksisitas sperma, Uji penetrasi getah serviks, Uji coating anti bodi sperma dan Uji Elisa (enzyme linked immunosorbent assay). One of the causes of "Unexplained Infertility" is presumably because of Imunologic factor, which is due to an immune response against antigens of sperm or cement. This responses will increase antibodies against these antigens on male reproductive tract such as testis, plasma, cement and sperm which are considered as a non-self antigen, this is called autoimmune. When the tissue damage occurs due to traumas or infections, the extravasation process will happen and the body will immediately produce antibodies to against the sperms. There are several ways that are used to detect the presence of anti-sperm antibodies: sperm agglutination test, sperm immobilization test, the sperm cytotoxicity test, cervical mucus penetration test, sperm antibodies coatingtest and ELISA test (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay).
