<![CDATA[This research was a classroom action research that aimed to make improvements in the learning process. This research was conducted at SDN 02 Kuala Mandor B in I grade students about determining the place value using the demonstration and practice methods. The research subjects consisted of 20 students. The formulation of the problem in this study was, "Can the demonstration and practice methods improve mathematics learning outcomes, determine the scores of tens and unit places in first-grade students at SDN 02 Kuala Mandor in semester 2 of the academic year 2017/2018?". This research was conducted in 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. By using evaluations to see improved learning outcomes and using observation sheets of student and teacher activities in learning. From the results of the study show an increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle. The class average was 42 then in the second cycle increased to 86.]]>
