Abstract

This study discusses the application of the concept of green living because the world is experiencing global warming. Green living is now a way of life among developed countries such as Europe and Asia, by applying the concept of structuring green environmental management in regions that require a clean and fresh air supply and comfortable to live in. Including in it the creation of the design of houses and buildings in hospitals that have the concept of Green Living, in this case, in particular, can be applied to the Correctional Institution which is the residence of prisoners who undergo the remainder of their prison period and undergo a coaching program given to them. This study aims to implement and benefit from green and healthy environmental management and economic value in managing the environment to make prisons more independent and productive. The method used in this study is descriptive by using a qualitative approach. Data collection by conducting interviews with Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas. IIA Batam Officers and field observations. Based on the results of research conducted at Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas. IIA Batam, it is known that the application of the concepts of green and healthy and economic value management in prisons has been carried out quite well by officers and prisoners to realize a better prison environment
